If pedigree is not known, then the ancestors of the horse will be listed as "Unknown".  NOTE: If you send a copy of your horse's registration papers from another association that shows his or her 5 generation pedigree, then you do not need to fill out the pedigree form below. If you are registering crossbred gaited offspring and sending a copy of both the sire's and dam's registration papers from other associations that shows the parents of your horse's 4 generation pedigrees, then you do not need to fill out the pedigree form below. If both sire and dam are registered with the PSHR, then you only need to send us their names and registration numbers and you do not need to fill in the form below. In all cases, you do need to complete the information below the form.

To Registrar of the Pleasure Saddle Horse Registry: I hereby submit the above horse for registry and certify that the information provided is true and correct to my knowledge. I also certify that the person listed in the Owner Information is the true and legal owner of the horse. I am 18 years or older. (If under 18, please ask parent or guardian fill out the form.)

PHOTO SUBMISSION

Two photos of the horse must be submitted with this application of registration form, one of the right side and one of the left side. Photos must show the entire horse, head, body, all four legs and hooves. One photo will be used on the registration papers, so quality photos are important. Photos may be sent as email attachments. Please be sure to state the horse's first name choice submitted in this application with the email. Of course, photos are also accepted by US mail to the address below. Photos will not be returned.

VIDEO OR DVD SUBMISSION

If your horse has unknown parentage, then a video or DVD showing the horse performing a soft gait is required. Short video clips of the horse performing one of the soft gaits are also accepted as email attachments. Of course, videos and/or DVDs are also accepted by US mail to the address below. A self addressed stamped envelope must be included if you want your video and/or DVD returned.

COPIES OF OTHER REGISTRATIONS

Copies of other registration papers can be emailed to us as attachments. When registering a crossbred horse, we will need copies of the sire's and dam's registration papers. Please see accepted breeds here: PSHR Recognized Breeds. Of course, copies of other registration papers are also accepted by US mail to the address below. They will not be returned. NOTE: Crossbred horses from registered parents of a recognized breed and/or purebred horses registered with other established gaited breeds DO NOT need videos submitted. A copy of registration papers is required in lieu of a videotape.
