About the PSHR Registry
The Pleasure Saddle Horse Registry was established to provide breeders of gaited horses the chance to crossbreed various gaited horse breeds. The Registry certifies and documents the progeny from these pairings with a permanent record along with quality registration certificates. You can mate a mare from any gaited breed with a stallion from another gaited breed, and the resulting foal will qualify for registration with the PSHR. Additionally, we offer registration for good quality gaited horses with unknown lineage through our hardship clause.

Why Register?
Ensure your foals' lineage is officially recognized and recorded. The value of a registered horse is greater than that of an unregistered one. Registering your gaited horse with the PSHR, whether you're active in breeding or not, increases the value of the horse. It makes it possible for future owners to breed and register offspring from it. A horse's registration papers provide a history of the horse's ownership and breeder. The recorded pedigree keeps track of the horse and its owners. You leave a permanent record that your horse was here. So many horses come into our lives, and then they are gone without leaving a trace. Don't let yours be one of them. It also allows your horse to be shown in some open horse shows that accept registered horses only.
